  • Vendor Identification and Selection

Vendors are identified and selected by our professional team on the basis of Vendor’s technical knowledge and competence, trainers, infrastructure, quality performance and customer feedback. Some of the questions we consider at this stage are:

    • Does the vendor have an established track record in line with your business requirements?
    • What projects has the vendor accomplished inline with your organisations needs and has it been successful?
    • How many years has the vendor been in business and who are some of its major clients? Are these clients long standing?
    • Does the service/product offered by the vendor provide users with a testing mechanism so that retention of the training material can be evaluated?
    • Can the vendor offer comprehensive and/or customizable reporting and analysis capabilities so that users can generate detailed information and data?
    • Can the training vendor deliver the final product or service in time to meet your deadline?
    • Can the vendor supply and allow us to engage with references?

  • Benchmarking

All requests from customers differ in the nature of the need they have at the time. GP offers a benchmarking service that researches and identifies potential suppliers. We start the vendor selection process by asking the customer a set of questions that define the need to a level where we can go to market. We check our current supplier base and where required go to market for a better selection. We then, where required and time allows send a Request For Proposal (RFP). We act on the customers behalf, field any clarifying questions and then score the RFP’s presenting the customer with up to three selections to chose from.

  • Evaluation

We use an evaluation system, the vendor is scored on the following:

    • Service delivery
    • Delegate feedback
    • The vendor and your working relationship
    • The vendor and GP’s working relationship

You, the client will then make the final selection based on these presentations.
