HR Awareness and Capability

We have found that developing your HR business partners/HR and learning and development colleagues so that they have a strong understanding and capability around coaching is a strong foundation for a successful coaching and/or mentoring strategy.

Developing HR’s understanding of what coaching is, when to use it, when not to use and how to “sell” it to internal clients is a helpful part of your coaching strategy. Also, equipping HR with good coaching skills so that they can have “good coaching conversations” with their internal clients is an effective and, we suggest, a key component of your strategy.
