Meet The Team

Tony Reilly – Business Unit Director
Tony is an experienced General Manager, having 22 years multidisciplinary experience of working in and with International organisations. He provides a successful and auditable track record of implementing organisational growth and consolidation within the learning and consulting organisations.
His experience includes: learning outsourcing with an almost unique track record of implementing 17 training outsourcing programmes, and encompasses developing and implementing and learning needs analysis reports and programmes, technical consulting, learning development modelling, learning solutions across, technical regulatory, professional development and management programmes within the learning environment.
He works with multi-channel, multi-products, multi-site, B2B and direct consumer markets which focus on delivery of high service levels. He successfully creates and delivers acquisition and merger integration projects, operational efficiency programs and strategy initiatives across all sectors of the business and has a proven track record with "Blue Chip" clients such as Texas Instruments, Cisco, Net App, RIM, Sandoz, Microsoft, UBS and Maersk.
Tony began his career as an aircraft engineer, and made the transition into learning and development over 22 years ago. Throughout the last 11 years, Tony has worked for GP Strategies, a complex organisation providing learning services on a global basis adding value wherever ever he was deployed and or engaged.
Tony is a chartered Fellow of the CIPD, a Fellow of the ITOL, a fellow of the CMI, a chartered Manager of the CMI, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Darren McGrath – Learning and Development Director
An honours graduate in Business Management Darren started his career working within the publishing and events industry. His passion for people development and organisational change soon led him into Learning and Development. During his time in the training industry he has developed and delivered a number of innovative learning and development interventions across the globe for organisations in a variety of industries. He spent a number of years working with one of the world’s leading independent IT and Management training organisations and before joining the GP team he was a director of a sales and management training organisation.
Darren has extensive experience of sales, management, leadership and personal development training interventions and he plays a pivotal role in developing and delivering training courses within a variety of industry sectors.
In 2009 Darren won the coveted award as “The One to Watch” at an industry awards ceremony at London’s 02 Arena.

Liz Dimmock – Managing Partner
Liz works across a number of our client organisations in the design and consultancy around coaching and mentoring programmes. She has a background in HR consulting, coaching and mentoring developed through corporate and consulting roles at KPMG, CMC and HSBC. Liz is passionate about making coaching and mentoring work simply and practically in organisations and supporting organisations and individuals to simply have “good conversation”.
When not working Liz loves spending time on her road or mountain bike, skis, the allotment and cooking up new recipes for friends and family!

David Jarrett – Chief Executive Officer
After more than 15 years at PwC and as a Partner at KPMG Consulting, David has considerable experience of identifying, proposing and managing change to deliver value.
He understands the complexity of implementing major changes in large organisations and has experience of integrating the positive and negative forces to deliver results.
David’s range of experience provides a unique perspective against which to challenge and develop the thinking of executives in both the private and the public sector. He is often selected by clients to work with direct and strong-minded individuals.

Mark Miller – Managing Consultant
Mark is the Managing Consultant for Future Perfect Ltd – an operating division of General Physics (UK) Ltd. Future Perfect Ltd operate services in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific. Future Perfect Ltd was acquired by General Physics (UK) Ltd in 2008. Having left KPMG in 2003 Mark became a founding Director of Future Perfect Ltd, a sustainability advisory business. The business is now a leading provider of verification services for Kyoto based schemes and fully integrated management systems, based upon Information Governance principles.
Mark was with KPMG from July 2000 to July 2003 as Director and Senior Executive for Sustainability Advisory Service in the UK. Responsibilities included the overall development and delivery of services and the maintenance of external accreditations. He has extensive experience in the Electronics and Information Technology sectors in addition to Sustainability and Health and Safety services. Mark also had specific responsibility for Automotive and Industrial Products markets.
Prior to this Mark held the post of Operations Director for the start-up certification business within KPMG. This required a full range of management skills from recruitment of technical staff, through development of internal management systems and finally integration into KPMG as a whole. Responsibilities included strategic planning, financial management, line management of 10 managers and operational delivery.
Previously Mark was responsible for business development projects globally within SGS Group, Corporate Head Office, Geneva. Responsibilities included the management and implementation of projects globally; training of auditing staff; program management of complex management systems for accreditation; and, the development and delivery of internal and external management training courses and seminars within SGS.

Elodie Raffelini – GP France Operations Director
After Elodie graduated from business school, she joint the Accenture Group where she started with end users technical and finance business process support before moving to the training organisation. There, she designed and delivered trainings, she put WBT together, she worked on LMS design, training processes, tools deployment, etc.
Since she joined GP in 2003, she has designed and deployed several custom outsources for our clients and work with them on a daily basis to support their internal training strategy within optimized training processes and regulatory requirements.

Susan Kappels – Head of GP Germany
Susan has over 14 years experience in learning and development, starting her career in 1997 at Fairchild Dornier. She has specialized in developing and managing curricula for Pan-European training programs for international organizations, in the areas of Finance and project management, and has extensive experience in human resources, personal development and consulting.
Having originally trained as a financial specialist, Susan worked for Allianz Asset Management before moving to O2 as a Human Resources Manager, with a focus in personal development.
In 2005, Susan joined General Physics and is currently a Senior Project Manager and the Head of GP Germany. In this role, Susan has successfully built a team in Germany that has achieved global recognition by her clients. Highlights of this position include managing the training department of one of GP’s biggest european clients. Susan’s expertise in consulting, developing international benchmarks, training needs analysis and design of training programs for multinational teams is of extreme importance to her customers operating in a multi cultural environment.
Throughout her career, Susan has been able to help many senior professionals create individual development plans and assist/coach them throughout the realization-phase.
Her challenging and motivational management style encourages her team to develop an understanding of the overall customer needs beyond their specific role.
Susan holds a Master of Economics from the University of Munich.

Sarah Miller – Business Administration Manager
Sarah joined General Physics (UK) Limited over 10 years ago, following fifteen years in the travel industry. She manages the administration for the Private Sector Operations Business Unit.
She enjoys spending time with her family and travelling.

Leanne Rose – Marketing Manager
Leanne graduated in Fashion, Textiles and Technology from Nottingham Trent University, her career began working for a large fashion retailer as a Creative Project Coordinator working across all channels to market. After taking some time to travel and work abroad, she returned to continue in marketing as a freelancer. She worked with a variety of businesses ranging from an exclusive jewellery brand to an established animal charity. Her broad knowledge of e-marketing came from working for a brand new online start up for over 2 years.
Her interests are Capoeria, travelling, vintage clothing and antiques; she loves design and enjoys learning about new trends.

Dawn Oakley – Graphic/Web Designer
Dawn joined General Physics (UK) Ltd in August 2009 with over 17 years design experience. She spent over 10 years working at the Birmingham Post & Mail Newspaper (Trinity Mirror) starting out in editorial and then into advertising as a Graphic Designer. She then worked for 5 years at the midlands largest independent estate agent and led the design and marketing team.
She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, taking her Staffordshire Bull Terrier (Ramsey) for long walks, music, dancing, Zumba, forensic based novels and housework!

Zack Starkey – Desktop Publisher
Zack graduated in Graphic and Media design from the Hereford college of Arts. Shortly after graduation he began working as a freelance Graphic Designer for a local print and web company based in Worcester. He worked for a London based independent record label producing album artwork, logo’s and promotional materials.
Now with General Physics (UK) Ltd Zack is involved in the production, formatting and distribution of print and online based course materials and proposals, utilising his skills to maintain the high standards expected of GP’s client’s and subsidiaries.
Zack’s interests include making music, t-shirt design, photography and classic cars.

Gemma Brain – Senior Project Manager
Gemma Brain is a Senior Project Manager at General Physics (UK) Ltd. Having graduated with a BA Modern Languages Degree in French and German at Coventry University, her career began in translation on a freelance basis whilst working for a computer games company assisting in games translation and foreign language customer support. She has worked with GP for 5 years within the Training Outsourcing area of the business and works with many of our international clients on a daily basis supporting clients' Learning and Development needs in terms of scheduling, administration, evaluation and attendance reporting, bespoke training requests, Training consultancy and Training Needs Analysis.
Her main interests include travelling and learning different cultures and languages. She also loves to dance particularly Salsa, Reggaeton and is currently learning Capoeira.

James Metcalfe – Senior Project Manager
James is a Senior Project Manager in the Outsourcing team and has been with GP for 7 years. After graduating in 2000 James worked in Business Development for a UK training company, in the public sector for the Learning and Skills Council and in Dealer Events and Training in the automotive industry. Since moving to GP, James has project managed the EMEA outsources for a number of global clients. James is experienced in transitioning new contracts, designing and implementing new processes, training needs analysis, training consultancy, vendor management, event management and content design and development.
His interests and hobbies include travelling, football, rugby and cooking.

Kate Miles – Senior Project Manager
Kate Miles is a Project Manager at General Physics (UK) Ltd. She has previously worked in administration and customer services roles and has now been with GP for over 3 years and works within the Training Outsourcing part of the business. Kate is responsible for providing operational support such as vendor management, administration, logistics, curriculum consulting and development of bespoke requests.
Her main interests include playing sports such as Badminton, swimming and Zumba, she also enjoys cooking and travelling.

Laura Collier – Project Manager
Laura is a Project Manager at General Physics (UK) Ltd. After spending three years in event management with the Intercontinental Hotels Group, Laura embarked on a postgraduate degree course in Journalism and Media where she earned a first class degree with honours. Soon after graduating Laura joined General Physics in Training Outsourcing where she has been for the past year and a half. Whist at GP Laura and has worked with several international clients and has experience in transitioning new contracts, implementing standard operating procedures, bespoke training requests and training consultancy.
Her main past times consist of running, aerobics , swimming , spinning, travel and socialising with friends and family.

Mirjam Zabel – Project Manager
With over 10 years experience in Learning and Development, Mirjam started her professional career in 2001 at the University of Munich after having graduated with a Master of Education.
She focused on didactic design of e-learning programs and evaluation.
Since joining GP in early 2006, Mirjam is mainly working within fully outsourcing contracts for international clients on European basis.
She is dealing with all parts of training administration, including needs analysis, vendor liaison, associate liaison and financial administration; ensuring accuracy and efficiency of all processes; quality control; logistics; general administration and delegate administration and liaison; dealing with enquiries; generating reports. In addition, Mirjam became a certified HBDI Practitioner.
Beside her strong interest in process orientation, working in international Teams for global clients is her main preference – this also shows up in her fondness of travelling to foreign countries whenever possible!

Jenny Caswell – Resourcing Consultant
Jenny Caswell is a Resourcing Consultant at General Physics (UK) Ltd and is responsible for identifying new resources for large scale training and consultancy projects for one of GP's largest outsourcing accounts.
Graduating with a degree in English from Loughborough University Jenny had worked in recruitment for a number of years across a variety of different sectors prior to working at GP and has experience in commercial, executive, return to work and graduate recruitment. Jenny has also worked as a Training Coordinator in the outsourcing sector of the company.
Her main interests are going to Zumba classes, spending time with friends and family and travelling.

Kerry Dawson – Senior Training Co-ordinator
Kerry has worked at General Physics (UK) Ltd for nearly 4 years. She joined the company as a Training Coordinator and was promoted to a Senior Training Coordinator in January 2011. Kerry works within the Training Outsourcing area of the business and is the main contact for The Netherlands in her team. She is responsible for scheduling, administration, evaluation, invoicing and attendance reporting.
Prior to joining General Physics (UK) Ltd Kerry worked in the Telecoms Industry for 10 years. She worked in the engineering side co-ordinating various engineers who would install Broadband into Businesses or University’s.
In her spare time Kerry enjoys spending time with her niece, nephew and friends. She also enjoys watching her local football team and travelling.

Leila Messadia – Senior Training Co-ordinator and Administrative Specialist
Leila is a Senior Training Coordinator and Administrative Specialist at General Physics France. Her Master degree of BA in English and Spanish and her Master of Communication and Cultural Management lead her to work in cultural event organizations in the South of France and gave her the interest to live and work in
the UK.
From her rich cross cultural experience, she put her first steps in the Training fields, back in France, initiating and teaching foreign languages to a large range of students from children to professionals. She has joined GP for 7 years within the Training Outsourcing area and took part in a variety of projects in terms of training scheduling, reporting, vendor management, as well as accountings and financials.
Leila loves cultural exchanges, ethnology, Art and music and takes great pleasure in discovering new styles and thoughts through travels, reading and cultural activities.

Christel Munos – Senior Training Co-ordinator
Christel graduated in communications (Nice/Sophia Antipolis University) and started to work in that domain in Paris (editing companies, cultural events organisation, public relations...)
When she returned to the South of France, she started to work in the HR domain and then joined GP France in 2008, where she enjoys very much contributing to our customers' growth through the development of their people.
On a personal side, she loves discovering new artists and cities (even if Paris remains her favorite so far!), and enjoys working on new projects!

Pia Krebs – Senior Training Co-ordinator
Pia started her professional career in 2003. She worked in the Marketing and Special Events Business for an international company, dealing with suppliers, clients and co-workers on a global basis.
Since joining GP in the beginning of 2008, Pia is working as a Senior Training Coordinator in a fully outsourcing contract: She is taking care of the operative business of the assigned contract.
Pia is dealing with all parts of training administration, including needs analysis, vendor liaison, associate liaison and financial administration; ensuring accuracy and efficiency of all processes; quality control; logistics; general administration and delegate administration and liaison; dealing with enquiries; generating reports.
Additionally Pia delivers training sessions for New Hires within this contract.
Pia holds a Master of Business Administration from the FH Worms.

Abigail Cutler – Senior Training Co-ordinator
Abi is a Senior Training Coordinator at General Physics (UK) Ltd. Having graduated with a BSc (hons) in Sociology with Human Resource Management from the University of Bath, she began her career with Bosch working as a Training and Development Officer. After a spell of 3 years in Germany, where she worked as a Project Assistant for Bosch, then a freelance English trainer with various companies in the Stuttgart area, she returned to the UK and began working for GP in the Training Outsourcing area.
She enjoys snowboarding and scuba diving and spending time with her family
and friends.

Natasha Malhotra – Training Co-ordinator
After completing a Masters in Work Psychology & Business at Aston Business School, her enthusiasm for learning and development led her to work as a placement graduate within the Organisational Development department of a local City Council. During her brief time at the council she designed and developed the customer service training programme, e-learning programme and developed strategic toolkits for senior management.
Natasha also has experience of working within the banking and health sector where her occupational roles range from an honorary assistant psychologist to a customer service advisor within a high street building society.

Julia Gracheva – Training Co-ordinator
Julia is a Training Coordinator at General Physics (UK) Ltd. Having graduated in linguistics and literature from Samara State University (Samara, Russia), Julia worked as an ESL teacher within Samara State Technical University, studying to obtain her PhD degree in education at the same time. Julia works within the Training Outsourcing area providing assistance with global learning operations and logistics for GP’s clients.
Her interests are German language, literature and culture. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Susan Hoang – Training Co-ordinator
Since leaving college Susan has been in analytical and coordination roles in various sectors. She joined General Physics (UK) Ltd two years ago as a Training Coordinator and has worked on three different global outsourcing contracts.
Susan enjoys reading Marvel comics and watching basketball. Her spare time consists of spending time with friends, going to the cinema, eating out, collecting designer handbags and playing to DJ Hero.

Ravine Virdee – Training Co-ordinator
After Graduating with a Post-Graduate Diploma from the University of Birmingham, Ravine fell straight in to the learning and development and HR fields. Now with over 5 years of coordination, delivery, training needs analysis and people development experience in fashion retail, sales, banking and I.T. Ravine has grown a huge passion for training design, delivery and people development.
Ravine works as a Training Coordinator with blue chip clients in developing and coordinating specialist customized training for a UK and European audience.
Ravine also sings, has a keen interest in health and fitness, art and loves travelling around the world – most recently Japan!

Lucy Brown – Training Co-ordinator
Lucy is a Training Coordinator at General Physics (UK) Ltd, she works within the Training Outsourcing area for a global company where she provides training administration. After receiving a BTEC Diploma in Office Technology she spent three and half years working in a Legal Training Firm as a Document & Events Administrator, her main duties where looking after a schedule of around 300 events each month running across the UK and Ireland, dealing with Lecturers requirements and course materials.
She enjoys various sports including running, swimming and is in a local netball team. Also enjoys spending time with family and friends.

David Moran – Training Co-ordinator
David is a Training Coordinator at General Physics (UK) Ltd supporting a major international account within the Training Outsourcing area, responsibilities include all training administration and logistics, vendor management and reporting, supporting the client with their Learning and Development curriculum.
Having left college, David worked in the civil service (police headquarters) in Dublin for a number of years before heading off on his travels around the world – Australia, Thailand, America following which David moved to the UK and started work at Birmingham Magistrates Court.
David has a proven track record in Training Co-ordination having worked for RoSPA for several years supporting with their Health and Safety training.
Hobbies include travelling, football and socialising with friends.

Leanne Gregory – Training Co-ordinator
Leanne is a Training Coordinator at General Physics (UK) Ltd, currently providing training administration for a large global corporate within the training outsourcing department.
After spending the last 5 years working for PricewaterhouseCoopers on the fulfilment team, she decided that it was time for a new challenge and moved to GP. Her last role involved preparing course materials and advertising for PwC Courses. She also prepared materials for graduate events.
Leanne originally Spent 3 years at college gaining various qualifications within travel and tourism. She enjoys travelling, going to the cinema, eating out and spending time with family and friends.

Emily Gilbert – Training Co-ordinator
Emily graduated from the University of Warwick in 2009 in Sociology with a specialism in Social Policy. Since graduating she has worked within fashion retail, starting at a grass root level, working her way up to Deputy, then Store Manager. She left the retail industry to join General Physics as a Training Coordinator, to work with blue chip clients in developing and coordinating specialist customized training in Europe.
She enjoys going to gigs, watching films and spending time with her friends and family.

Nick Coles – Training Co-ordinator
Nick works as a Training Co-ordinator working on a global accounts scheduling courses across EMEA. He is an adaptable individual who is good at building up a relationship and rapport with his clients.
After graduating from Coventry University with a BSc (hons) in Geography, he worked in the environmental sector dealing with the packaging and waste electrical directives for companies UK wide. Nick wanted to be more involved with customers directly, which is why he moved into the health and safety and pallet industries. He saw the opportunity at General Physics and thought this new challenge was too good to miss.
He loves football so much so he holds a season ticket at his local club. He also races at a local sailing club in one man boats called Laser’s, as well as going to the cinema and walking in the countryside.

Iris Holz – Training Co-ordinator
Iris holds a Master of Arts from the University in Aix la chapel; her subjects were Sociology, Psychology and Social and Economic history. She focused on personnel development and learning and development.
Iris has 3 years professional experience in learning and development. She started her career within the training coordination area and joined GP in 2010 as Training Coordinator. Iris is working in a fully outsourcing contract and is responsible for all parts of training administration including e.g. vendor searching, financial administration, quality control, delegate administration.
One of her main projects is the implementation and support of an e-learning tool.
As well as boosting the usage and acceptation of further e-learning tools to deliver training also to a small target group.
Furthermore she is driving forward the alignment on a global basis for the client.
Iris enjoys working in an international environment.
Her interests are spending time with her family, visiting concerts and reading fantasy books.
